I am a retired teacher who loves teaching math. I taught 30 years in the local high school in Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I have tutored many students over my 30 year career.

I am a former elementary teacher in Oklahoma, I chose a career in the tutoring business because I want to help students of all ages realize their full potential. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. When I am not tutoring, you can find me playing with my niece and nephew, reading a book, or crocheting items for charity.

I have a BS and MS in Mathematics from the University of Idaho. Since graduation I have worked as a substitute teacher and pursued a PhD in mathematics at the University of Idaho. I love Mathematics and I hope for opportunities to share my knowledge and love of the subject with others. Since joining Varsity Tutors I have expanded my teaching portfolio to include SAT preparation.

I have experience learning many different subjects and studying for exams and certifications as well as learning a new language. I am a French native speaker and have a master degree in marketing. I am a biologist, graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. During my undergraduate coursework, I was a tutor for developmental biology, embryology.
