Today we covered tasks from the workbook that the student went over on his own. We covered angles between hands of a clock, and many exercises combining algebra and geometry. These involved supplementary and complementary angles. We also went over proofs and practiced the two column format of the geometry proofs on some examples in geometry. Student is showing good insight into the topic and solves all problems independently and with speed and confidence. Student also reported that he had a good feeling about the results of the previous test in geometry that we have prepared for last time.

We looked at polynomial division, inequalities, and the conjugate root theorem. The student struggled most with putting all the steps together. She can do most of the steps, but needs more practice stringing them all together. She had a great attitude and was ready to learn. I left her with several problems to practice and will email her some solutions. She also has a review sheet from her course that she will use for practice. I think she can do well.
