How can a Spanish tutor help you?

Spanish is a growing language, spoken by half a million people around the world and studied by nearly twenty million more. Add in the fact that the United States is on track to become the world's largest Spanish speaking country, and it only makes good sense to begin studying Spanish. While there are similarities between English and Spanish, there are also significant differences that are going to require effort to understand. Nouns in Spanish, for example, have both gender and number. Learning the rules and exceptions that cover this aspect of the grammar may take some work. If you're interested in studying with a personal instructor, Varsity Tutors may assist you in connecting with a tutor in Austin who could potentially help with understanding the concepts of Spanish.

You'll get complete flexibility as to the particulars of your study sessions. If you need some extra work on the Spanish cardinal numbers, or if you want someone with experience to see if you've got the comparisons of inequality down pat, you'll be able to schedule review sessions with your tutor. That may be extremely helpful if you want to brush up before a big test or other assignment. Regardless of what your needs are, our directors may match you with the best Spanish tutor in Austin, TX, who might help you to meet your academic and test score goals.

Spanish Tutoring review by Anna in Austin, TX
I feel like we had a productive hour working on her composition due this week. The student is studying the future tense. While helping her with her composition I pointed out areas where she could use the conditional tense if necessary. Usually future and conditional tenses are taught together because they are used together so we will see if the conditional tense is also a part of the student's class. I hope I helped her clarify the verbs she needed to change for her composition. I look forward to working with her again, most likely next week.

Spanish Tutoring review by Deyanira in Austin, TX
The students have had some lessons in Spanish. However, as an introductory class, we went over greetings (hola, buenos dias, buenas tardes, buenas noches), how to say your name (me llamo), and how to say goodbye (adios). We also reviewed colors and identified colors on things in their play room. At the end of the session, the students were enthusiastically greeting their mother. They were also eager to learn more words like apple juice and chocolate milk so that they could practice their Spanish tomorrow morning.

Spanish Tutoring review by Rebecca in Austin, TX
Today the student and I reviewed the present and past perfect verb tenses that she learned in class. We went over how to conjugate haber and how to put it together with a participle and the irregular forms. We went over the vocabulary in that chapter and completed some exercises to help her remember. She was very receptive and engaged in this lesson and we decided we would go back into the chapter to go over the verb forms to review for the final.
