I'm Karen, I'm from New York and recently graduated from Vanderbilt University, double majoring in Secondary Education and English Literature. I am a licensed English (6-12) teacher and I have lots of experience tutoring kids of all ages and all subjects, so reach out and say hi, and let's work together!

I am passionate about teaching because I believe in making learning fun and I believe in motivating students. I am able to tutor Math, English-Reading and Writing, and Korean. I recently graduated with a MAT in Childhood Education 1-6 from Queens College, so I prefer to work with Elementary students. I believe one-on-one tutoring is more effective because individual attention gives personalized benefits for learning. My hobbies are listening to music and reading novels.
