I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education at Jackson State University, and am currently completing a Ph.D., from Mississippi State University. I have been an educator for the past eight years in elementary, middle, and high school settings, and am currently hold educator licenses in both Texas and Mississippi.... As an individual who works with elementary students each day, it is my belief that all students deserve a quality education that allows them to excel in the workforce and become productive citizens who leave better than they came. Students should leave the educational institution having been challenged to acquire new skills, with awareness of things outside their normal scope of accustomed ideas. It is my goal as an educational professional to provide a caring and creative environment where students can achieve their goals, as well as adapt to a set of principles that cultivate a passion for lifelong learning and understanding of the world aside from self.
