What could an Oklahoma City LSAT course help me review?
The LSAT is a test delivered on digital tablets that is designed specifically to assess key skills needed for succeeding in law school. The LSAT is the one and only test accepted for admission purposes by all ABA-accredited law schools and Canadian common-law law schools, so it is important for you to perform to the best of your abilities. This test contains four separate sections: Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Writing, Let's take a closer look at each individual section.
The Reading Comprehension section of the LSAT involves questions designed to measure your ability to read and understand examples of long-form, complicated texts that are similar to texts one can expect to encounter in law school. This includes questions about the main idea or primary focus, information that is explicitly stated, information or ideas that can be inferred, the meaning or purpose of words or phrases as used in text, and more. Completing the Reading Comprehension section to the best of your abilities will allow you to showcase your ability to retain and demonstrate that knowledge you've gained through reading.
Next, you will encounter the Analytical Reasoning section. This section of the LSAT features questions designed to measure your ability to understand a structure of relationships and draw conclusions about that structure. The skills being assessed in this portion of the LSAT include, but are not limited to, reasoning with conditional statements, inferring what could be true or must be true from provided facts and rules, and recognition of two statements using context that is logically equivalent. Your analytical reasoning skills are a big part of succeeding in law school, and it is critical that you do well on this portion of the test.
After the Analytical Reasoning section, you will be expected to complete the Logical Reasoning section, in which you can expect to encounter questions made to assess your ability to analyze, critically evaluate, and complete arguments. This section will feature content sources including newspapers, magazines, scholarly publications, advertisements, and informal discourse. The Logical Reasoning section of the LSAT assesses a variety of skills, including recognizing the parts of an argument and their relationships, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, recognizing misunderstandings or points of disagreement, identifying and applying principles or rules, identifying flaws in arguments, and more.
Finally, you will take the Writing Section of the LSAT. This section will be administered online via a secure testing platform, separately from the LSAT multiple-choice test sections. Candidates will have one year from the date of completion of the multiple-choice sections of the LSAT to complete the Writing section. The Writing section is unscored and begins with a writing prompt that presents a decision problem in which you will be asked to choose between two positions or courses of actions and defend your choice. There is no "right" or "wrong" answer in this section, as it is designed specifically to allow you to demonstrate your argumentative writing skills.

I tutor the LSAT because I know it's a hard test and I know what it's like to struggle with it. However I also understand the process necessary to produce better scores, and nothing is more satisfying to me than helping someone achieve what seemed impossible a few months ago.... Your score is a product of so many factors--your understanding of the material, your speed, even how accurately you bubble answers--but in the end it all comes down to whether you studied the test from every angle and put in the time necessary to get the results you want.
