LSAT Tutoring review by Benjamin in Bridgeview, IL
The student did not have time to complete any practice sections. We worked through analytical reasoning questions from a test I sent her. We've identified as areas for improvement precisely reading questions and passages, identifying what we are looking for before reaching answer choices and taking practice sections regularly.

LSAT Tutoring review by Erika in Bridgeview, IL
The session went well after some initial technical problems. First, we discussed what the student has done to prepare and her goals for the LSAT. Then we talked about the importance of taking practice tests and doing sections under timed conditions. We finished by working on diagramming and setting up logical games. For next time, she is going to work on some more conditional reasoning and diagramming exercises.

LSAT Tutoring review by Kathryn in Bridgeview, IL
This lesson the student and I really got into the logical reasoning section. We started by quickly going through the two logic games I had given her for homework. She scored an almost perfect score on the first one. The other one was a very difficult grouping game, so we took a little time on that. We then moved on to review the questions that she had done on her own. We started from the beginning and went through the whole section, going through every question she missed in detail. We got to talk through strategy for flaws, assumptions, strengthening, weakening, parallel flaws, and evaluate question types. I think this gave her a much better foundation from which to try the next section. We also practiced focusing on LSAT style thinking, especially the implications of those problems that involve the terms "some," "many," "most," "all," and such words. I also advised her on the need to avoid "real life" knowledge while taking the test. Overall, she did great work. She is going to do another logical reasoning section and a logic games section for next time.
