...my tutoring is focused around reading, writing, English, and test prep. I have worked with students from elementary to adult and also have experience working with students with special needs. I attended a competitive high school and am eager to help any students needing essay, application, or test preparation help. I hope to break things down in a simple way, utilize strong written communication, and work strategically to help you achieve your goals.

I am a patient, energetic, knowledgeable college graduate in my gap year between completing my undergraduate Biology BS degree in 2 years and attending medical school. I am passionate about learning and teaching STEM topics and getting students to reach their goals. My teaching interests include reading comprehension, social studies, science. I have created some great test taking strategies for students of all ages and abilities. As a Special Education Teacher I understand the many challenges that a student will face when having difficulty with a particular skill or a subject that they are learning for the first time.
