I have 14 years teaching students and mentoring teachers. I am bilingual in Spanish and have worked teaching in New Jersey and California.... I motivate students and give them the reason why to excel. I lead by example and use multisensory techniques.... I like to find a student's deficits and strengths, and create a good working relationship with the student and their family.

I'm a recent transplant from Chicago after attending Northwestern University. When I'm not listening to rap or taking pictures of random strangers on the street with my film camera, I enjoy reading short stories. I've always been a visual learner that benefits from DOING... that means I don't want to lecture you during our sessions, but open the dialogue to have fruitful conversations rather than having you memorize and forget.
