I enjoy children, and I enjoy watching them learn new things. I enjoy math, especially algebra. I find it a fun challenge to help students with math concepts and problems.

I am trained as a chemist, with skills in biochemistry, microbiology, biophysics and inorganic chemistry. I have experience teaching and supervising high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. I have a lifelong interest in science, and find teaching very rewarding. I would like to develop a curriculum where I can excite students about science in the world around them and in the process by which scientific knowledge is discovered.

I am a proponent of active learning and use a variety of methods to encourage discussion and interaction on the issues, the course presents. Understanding different learning style of students, makes teacher rich to design his/her lesson plan.
