I'm currently a junior at UTSA, aiming to attain my B.S. in Biology by the next academic year. During high school, I occasionally tutored high school peers individually in Algebra and Chemistry subjects. Since then, I've picked up roles of mentorship (e.g. Science Mentor, Resident Assistant) that have allowed me to develop meaningful 1-on-1 relationships with a variety of fellow students; additionally, through these positions, I've been able to help other students understand how to approach academic and non-academic problems. Education has opened up my life to unimaginable possibilities, and by tutoring, I hope to help students come into their own as scholars or otherwise, bridging the gap between curiosity and compassion!
