I have worked in education for the past 9 years and I have wanted to be a teacher since I was five years old. I tutor mainly Spanish and elementary education courses. My style in tutoring is to provide direct modeling, work together to find solutions, give time for practice, and make it as fun as possible! I love education, learning, languages, culture, and helping others. I have worked with children in the classroom for all of my career and from 1st grade to 8th grade primarily in the areas of reading, math, science, social studies, ESL and Spanish. I have also taught college/adult English, ESL, and Spanish classes as well. I love learning in all forms. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish at UNC Charlotte, in Charlotte, NC and also just received my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from NC State University in Raleigh, NC. I am a lifelong lover of learning!
