I currently maintain a strong GPA while taking part in several activities. I got the opportunity to take part in a Biology and Biochemistry research lab, as well as become a Research Associate at Brooklyn Hospital. I am currently a member of the Alpha Epsilon Honors Society, and a Collegiate Health Service Corps Fellow. Secondly, I am a Peer Mentor for incoming biology students. I also became the treasurer of the Medical Roots Project, which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the underserved population by providing pop-up clinics. Moreover, I am part of a major African Dance group called TRYBE. For a form of income, I began tutoring in math and chemistry. Lastly, I recently began working as a Pharmacy Technician. I take pride in educating individuals from different communities and I hope to dismantle the barriers that prevent students from receiving the best education possible.
