I love math, which led me to go back to school as an adult and obtain my B.S. in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University. My overall GPA was a 3.4 with a Mathematics GPA of 3.65. I received A's in Calculus I - III, Linear Algebra, Model Building in Mathematics, Abstract Algebra I - II, and B's in Advanced Calculus I and II, and Plane Geometry. During this period I volunteered to tutor math at NIU for experience and tutored at Kishwaukee College, the local community college.

I believe that the best and only way to obtain your math goals is through positive, good instruction and practice. I pride myself in the ability to break concepts down in a manner in which students can fully understand them and translate that understanding to performance in the classroom. There is no greater joy then watching a student have that " ah ha" moment when math becomes simple and fun. I look forward to working with you.

I have a proven track record of helping students with homework and giving them the skills to pass their tests. I would enjoy working with you to help you reach your goals!
