I am a retired high school math teacher. I miss math and my students and am happy for the opportunity to enjoy both through tutoring. I have taught a variety of math subjects and not only understand math at the current level but have knowledge of what understanding will be required for success in the future.

I am a lover of literature and history. I am a strong believer in access to education making a huge difference in people's lives. I enjoy working with youth, and hope that I can bring the enjoyment of learning into their lives. I have been working with ESL students of all ages for the past 3 years as well as with at risk youth encouraging their confidence level and nurturing their own personal skills.
