I am a graduate of NDSU North Dakota State University. I received my Bachelor of Arts double major in Business Administration & Economics and also a computer science minor (back in the day). Since graduation, I have been in the business community for over 30 years, getting licensed at one time or another in Real Estate, Appraisals, Mortgage Brokerage, Insurance and Securities. I wanted to know whatever I could about money and finance and be an expert. I also have been in the martial arts for 35 years and have taught 1000's of children over the years self defense. I am most passionate about finance, business, numbers in general and the martial arts. I feel our young people today don't know about the basic things in life they will have to deal with on a daily basis like mortgages, banking, insurance, etc. In my experience helping students, we always seem to improve the most by having fun. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy riding my Harley, spending time with my wife, kids and grandkids, and of course teaching martial arts.
