Tutoring review by Michael in Morgan, UT
Today we worked on trig identities and properties. There are many identities and properties to memorize, which is probably the hardest part about this section. The other part that causes some difficulty is that there are several ways to solve some of these problems; not only one. The student was applying the identities and properties effectively by the end of the session. We will continue to reinforce these ideas in future sessions.

Tutoring review by James in Morgan, UT
We reviewed the surface area and volume formulas for the past few sections of the student's chapter. We then looked at the surface area and volume of spheres, and the basics of spherical geometry. She has a test on this chapter next week, so we started review for the test. Our next session is the day before her test, so we will do a final review then.

Tutoring review by Kimberly in Morgan, UT
The student seems highly motivated to finish the course. We discussed that we are 1/3 of the way through both halves and 2/3 through the first half. He did some work on his own before the session, which helped us accomplish more during the session. If he can continue to do so, we should move through the assignments relatively quickly.

Tutoring review by Joseph in Morgan, UT
We went over slope-intercept and interpreting how to graph different lines. The student picked up on the concepts once a few details were explained. I think the student will do well on the test tomorrow. I did advise her to look over similar problems in the book to ensure that she can apply the concepts.

Tutoring review by Jacqueline in Morgan, UT
The student said that she did well on her math test. They went over the test in class and she said she understood the errors that she made. We also talked about what they'd covered in class. They just started graphing equations of lines and slopes. We did some practice problems graphing with finding parallel and perpendicular lines going through a particular point. There was some fraction conversion that she did great at.
