I have been teaching students for the past 5 years, and assisting teaching for longer. Whether it be academics or martial arts I have found that I thrive when able to help others learn and grow. Being a college student has only furthered this as I transitioned from tutoring to becoming a TA for my peers. I have worked with students as young as 4 and even adults in their 60s.

Hi My name is Ms. Feng and I started as a High school English Teacher; however the changing face of education has brought me several different experiences. I have taught AVID and study skills for Middle and High school; I have developed Chinese virtual curriculum for US students. I have tutored and counseled high school and middle school students in Math, English, SAT and College admissions essays.

Learning always involves closing the gap between where a student is and where they want to be. A teacher, or tutor, needs to know the steps that are involved in closing this gap.
