...a dual degree in Computer Science and Business. I've been tutoring for 7+ years now, and I love making an impact in my students' lives! Previously, I've taught Math (up until pre-calculus), Science, Reading, Grammar, Writing, Computer Science (Java, C++, Python, Scratch, etc), and many more. I truly believe that working individually with students will not only help my students learn but also help me in growing as I learn from those around me.

I graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor degree in math and Columbia University with a master degree in actuarial science. I got an average of 3.8 GPA on all my math classes, so I am able to tutor in any level of calculus courses or high school mathematics. I have passed 5 actuarial exams (P, FM, IFM, STAM and SRM), so I can tutor in any of those exams.

I am a rising sophomore at Michigan (Go Blue!!). I have loved math since before I could remember and am pursuing a major in Computer Science. When I am not coding/math-ing (is that a word?), I love to hang out with friends, work out, and scoop ice cream at my (other) job!

...with a degree in computer science. My teaching style is simple and relaxed, putting an emphasis on what students know already and building from there. The biggest teaching mistake I believe exists is starting from a concept that a student doesn't understand and unknowingly confusing them more. My goal is to get students excited about what they're learning and constantly remind them of the "why": how it all matters in the real world.

I want to learn to interact with kids of all age groups, to teach myself how to be a better communicator so I can effectively communicate myself to others when the need arises.

I can tutor very effectively across a variety of math, computer science, and statistics subjects, but am most passionate and have the most 1-on-1 experience in probability and statistics and test prep. I believe that anyone with a good amount of motivation can learn what they desire to a high level with the correct help, and I find the experience of providing that help...

...University I'm on track to complete my B.S in Applied Mathematics and Statistics with an aim to get my M.S in Statistics. Currently, I'm teaching Calculus 1/AP Calculus, AP Statistics/College level Statistics, Algebra 1/2, Pre Calculus, and Pre-algebra. I also do SAT mathematics prep. I graduated from Wake Forest with a Masters of Science in Business Analytics. I graduated from App State with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. I have worked as a business analyst for four years. My best subjects are probably Excel, SQL, and R. I'm also quite proficient in SAS, Tableau, VBA, and general Business Analytics and Finance.
