Hello, my name is Amy. I have been an educator for years. I am a Certified Teacher in Pre-K through Sixth Grade and Biology and General Science 7-12 with a Master's degree in Education. As a young girl, I aspired to be a teacher.

I am a graduate of Northwestern University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science with a social science concentration in Sociology. Since graduation, I have worked primarily as a journalist and editor in the news industry. I am passionate about history, writing, reading, political science, and sociology and have an extensive history with math - having come from a long line of math educators.
