Helping students achieve confidence and understanding is the most rewarding job in the world. I've worked successfully in classrooms with elementary aged students, and tutored students up to college level. I always start by meeting my students at their level of experience and understanding so that we can work together to build up their skills. My favorite topics to teach are math and science, but I can help with nearly any K-12 subject.

...My research took me to Costa Rica, where I studied a tropical canopy tree in Costa Rica's tropical forest. After graduating, I joined Teach For America where I taught high school Biology, AP Biology and Anatomy in South Los Angeles. I am a university student studying to get into medical school. I have always loved tutoring mathematics to people who struggle in their studies and need a bit of extra help. I always love seeing the moment that the material clicks into place for them.

Education is the overall development of the personality of the student. I have won prizes in many extracurricular activities such as dancing, elocution, acting, stage shows, cooking, scouts programming, and other college union activities. I'm a lifelong learner and hope to share my love of learning with my students. I graduated in 2014 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, with a minor in Chemistry. First, a tutor needs to be concerned for his students and needs to create a friendly learning environment. Then, the tutor can establish a team in order to improve the product. The product is homework, quizzes and exams. Good study habits are very important. Many times a parent can help a student with this, so the team might consist of the tutor, student and a parent.
