I believe that teaching any natural science topic is best accomplished through inquiry-based, hands-on learning, conducted through investigative and exploratory lessons and activities. My favorite past-time activities and hobbies include reading of action-adventure sci-fi-based novels as well nature/science books and magazines; nature photography; peaceful nature walks through woods and along the water; bicycling on quiet roads; and occasionally playing tennis.
