I am a NYC public school teacher. I currently teach middle school (grades 6-8) in both a special education (ICT) and general education settings. I have also taught high school (grades 9-12--all subjects). I have been teaching in total of 6 years and I have also tutored professionally for approximately 4 years. Education truly is my passion and life's purpose. I value the educational process and enjoy motivating and inspiring students (and adults).
I have multiple master's degrees and am pursuing admissions into a doctorate program in clinical psychology. I graduated at the top of my class in high school and achieved honors throughout my educational career. Additionally, I have just completed a rigorous school administration program and will soon be an assistant principal. This past summer I completed an administrative internship where I was an administrator at a middle school in Jamaica, Queens New York.
Education is my life's work and it saved my life. I was born into poverty and have worked hard my entire life to become someone. I feel extremely passionate about hard work and I believe everyone has the ability to become great, if they TRULY believe in themselves. The Buddha said it nicely, "The Mind Is Everything, What You Think You Become."
Essentially, I have dedicated my life towards helping people become the best versions of themselves through coaching, motivation, inspiration, and leadership.
