I believe that while everyone learns differently, everyone is capable of learning. It's important that we use all opportunities to not only learn, but share in that learning with other individuals. I'm here to watch that lightbulb of understanding turn on for as many people as possible.

I have tutored high school math for 13 years and before that I taught math and its applications to other subjects in universities, so I am confident that I have the knowledge and skill set to assist you. I have come to realize that tutoring is about figuring out what a student knows or doesn't know or has misconceptions about. This requires interaction, empathy, motivation and understanding.

I am a first-year computer science student at the University of Maryland College Park. My favorite subjects (and the subjects I tutor) are computer science and math! Some of my professional experiences include camp counseling for 2 summers, tutoring at Kumon, and I recently completed a software engineering micro-internship at Microsoft. Programming is definitely a big hobby of mine, I love attending hackathons and making my own personal projects.

As an aerospace engineering student at the University of Maryland, College Park, I am eager to share my passion for mathematics, through subjects in algebra and calculus. I am a graduate of Howard University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in applied mathematics and a minor in computer science.
