In this session, we discussed the conceptual understanding of position, velocity and acceleration and how they are all related to one another. He seemed to grasp the concepts really well, as I didn't have to spend much time explaining things. Once we finished physics, we moved on to math where the class is still going over Statistics. It involves more data entry into the calculator than anything else, but when it comes to interpreting the numbers given by the calculator, he also seems to be doing well there.

In today's session the 90 minutes were split evenly among the two students. Student A is very confident in his physics class and did not have much to go over, so we only did a few practice problems his teacher had given him, and then finished up a lab he had been working on. That took about half an hour, but he also wanted to start looking into neutron stars for a report that he is doing on them that is due in about a month. Student B had a bit more to go over than her brother did. She has moved from basic geometric transformations to angles and polygons, so we spent our time going briefly over angles and talking quite a bit about polygons and their components. We will keep this up as she continues to move into the more complex aspects of geometry.
