After doing this for 3+ years and developing an understanding of how universities evaluated their applicants, I founded ClearSky Education services a one-on-one admission counseling service for high school students. Since starting ClearSky education in 2011 I have placed 125 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students in universities across the U.S. and U.K. among them, the University of Michigan, Harvard, Notre Dame,University of Pennsylvania, and Cambridge University.

I have been working in the mathematics field on a professional level for the past seven years. After college, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing in order to gain a new, fresh perspective on liberal arts culture and the humanities, I realized my academic focus was better suited for the study and education associated with math. I've loved math ever since grade school, and I found myself actually looking forward to coming home and doing my math homework! I soon realized that what I was doing was not only fun, but had a purpose. I understood that it defines and shapes the way in which we go about our business navigating through the world. My admiration for its profound impact in this manner has only become stronger over the years. We use mathematical logic to arrive at unassailable truths about the world, algebra in representing mathematical language, and probability to make educated guesses on given occurrences. It goes on and on! Working with math is a fun, unique experience that I enjoy very much.I graduated Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing. I then went on to Queens College, where I spent many years building my math credentials, taking undergraduate and graduate level courses in calculus, problem solving, math for business, and history of mathematics, to name a few. I entered into Queens College's graduate teacher education program, where I completed student teaching. I have hundreds of fieldwork hours in various schools observing teachers and colleagues at work, working on tutoring or group-organized instruction, and student teaching.I have worked in various summer camps over the years, and I work with students with special learning needs.

Since graduation, I have taught extensively, tutoring children and adults in Miami. (as I am a certified ESE instructor); and private clients in the Miami Dade County area. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about FTCE, Spanish, and English for English as Second Language speakers. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for The FTCE tests, improve their English and Spanish knowledge, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) preparing for the Critical Reading and Critical Thinking Skills portions of the exams. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. I recently graduated from Towson University in Maryland with a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a concentration in the functional biology of animals. During my stay at Towson, I learned a lot about myself and about other people by getting involved with tons of different activities and groups. To name a few, I was a Resident Assistant for two and a half years, captain of the club soccer team, and an active member of Beta Beta Beta, the biological honor society.I began peer tutoring at school during my sophomore year for Anatomy & Physiology I & II. I soon realized how much I enjoyed helping other people learn, so I began assisting my residents with homework assignments, lab work, and helpful study tactics. I love to tutor nearly all subjects relating to biology, but my favorite subject to tutor is Anatomy & Physiology II. I am a committed government attorney, who has dedicated many long hours to reading and understanding the American system of government, the organization of state and federal political institutions, and the U.S. and Massachusetts Constitutions. I have had the honor of serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy, where I reviewed the legal writings of over forty law students in areas ranging from Constitutional and Criminal Law to Employment Discrimination and Bankruptcy Law. I have a deep appreciation for American history, and believe in the guiding words of Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes when he said that "a page of history is worth a volume of logic." I also love getting outdoors and hiking in the Middlesex Fells Area, and coaching youth basketball. I am an avid movie goer, Netflix subscriber, and a diehard Boston Celtics, B.C. and New England Patriots fan. As a teacher, I believe in keeping things conversational and adaptable. I believe that talking things out and understanding the "why" of history, political science, law, and government will go miles in being able to nail down details like dates and names.
