I do not fit in stereotypical academic categories. I was a humanities focused liberal arts major, a graduate of the Great Books program at St. John's College. But there I rediscovered a love of math and science which has led me to pursue Physics. I am a hard science geek who loves to read, and I want to help students learn to love all subjects and succeed at them too.

I have successfully taught students from middle school to undergrad in wide ranging subjects from biology to chemistry to databases to US history. I believe in holistic learning - by which I mean you should UNDERSTAND the material, not just memorize the material and if that means going back to basics to ensure a good foundation, I'll get you there.
