I find that in most instances, confused students are unclear on one or two simple, yet important ideas. Clearing these up, and deliberately following their implications, can make students have a much better level of understanding while also feeling confident in their knowledge. I graduated with a degree in Biology and am currently in my first year of dental school at Harvard.
