Languages Tutoring review by Irina in Boulder, CO
First, we reviewed Dialogue #1 (form a few weeks ago), which went quite well. Then I introduced the student to Dialogue #2 ("Introducing yourself to a stranger") and Dialogue #3 ("Brief informal greeting/ saying bye"). As a part of homework, I asked them to practice the last 2 dialogues.

Languages Tutoring review by Aleksandr in Boulder, CO
We continued the lesson numbers and how to tell time. I taught him little tricks on how numbers are called in Russian, whereby they're made up of the words of other numbers. I also discussed how Russians tell time, and the three different ways that they say what time it is, depending on the context.

Languages Tutoring review by Jessica in Boulder, CO
Today student and I had a fun lesson where we went over some words for colors in both French and English; she traced the letters of several of the words and then we decided to stop that portion of the session until our next one. I could tell her little mind was working hard to get those words out! She also spelled each word aloud and did a very good job. We then worked on an activity with water color paints and painted different animals and objects like flowers and hearts. These activities are really great for her because they hold her attention, as well as relate to what we learned in the first half of the session. During our activity time today we held our conversation in both French and English, which Sarah does very well.

Languages Tutoring review by William in Boulder, CO
In our last session, the student and I worked on pronunciation, and I feel that he is getting it a little better. We are also working on vocabulary a bit more, and I have decided that it would be best to focus on basic syntax for now, where he is doing better with for sure. His attitude towards French has also gotten better, as he specifically asked for help with pronunciation at our last session.

Languages Tutoring review by Kaitlyn in Boulder, CO
Today was a big improvement from recent sessions as both students worked hard for the entire hour. We learned the rest of the numbers up to one hundred, and played the math dice game again, which they seemed to enjoy. They remembered a lot of the new numbers we learned last session.
