I am fascinated by how the Earth works, and how other sciences such as biology, ecology, chemistry, hydrology and even planetary geology help us understand the planet we live on. I also have extensive knowledge of the extraction and distribution of natural resources, and how that affects populations, cultures, and politics. I have seen geology up close in 40+ states and 10+ countries. I am accomplished at technical and business writing, and public speaking.

I am here to help them succeed. They don't need to be embarrassed or shy around me. I want to offer a safe place for the students to learn and practice what they already know, and then move on from that place to learn more and more.

I am an enthusiastic, outgoing student who values organization and detail. I received an IB diploma upon high school completion and BS in Biology from Colorado State University in 2011. I am currently enrolled in a paramedic certification program in the DC area. I volunteered as a tutor in college working with students from kindergarten to high school seniors.
