During my two years as a TA in the Duke Mathematics Department, I learned to help calculus students think through complex problems and develop critical thinking strategies. My own experience studying for the MCAT taught me the principles of developing a study schedule and planning for a successful test. These experiences will enable me to help students achieve their goals, both short and long term.

I am a Biochemistry major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have tutored in chemistry and French for the past three years and have begun tutoring for standardized testing and math. I'm on the varsity rowing team at UNC and have played sports my entire life. I spend the majority of my time in Chapel Hill but travel to Bozeman, MT whenever possible!

I hold a master's degree in math from UNC-Wilmington. I have taught and tutored both in classrooms and learning center environments since 1995 with courses ranging from developmental math to basic calculus. My favorite subjects are algebra and pre-calculus including trigonometry.
