My belief is that an interest in the subject yields better grades. If you enjoy the subject you are working on, you will be more likely to learn the material. My philosophy is to guide the student to figuring out the correct answer, and hopefully in the process the student will understand the concepts behind the problem.

I have a master's degree from Princeton University and two bachelor's degrees from the University of Florida. I have an IB diploma and took numerous AP/IB courses through high school.

I'm a finance and a computer nerd. I geek out on algorithms be it in C, Python, C++ or Java. What makes me even happier is sharing this knowledge and passion for programming with others around me. When children first start learning math from early elementary to late middle school they are continually taught HOW to do something and not often taught WHY.
