If you're hoping to someday become a Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (PN), Varsity Tutors is here to set you up with quality Orlando NCLEX prep opportunities. The NCLEX is used as a means to determine your potential to perform entry-level nursing duties or tasks. Passing the NCLEX is a critical step in your professional journey so you will want to make sure you take advantage of reputable prep options. For assistance when you're reviewing the content found on the exam, Orlando NCLEX prep can help you prepare more fully than you may be able to alone.
What are the skills and content that can be reviewed during Orlando NCLEX prep?
There are two different versions of the exam depending on whether you are studying to be an RN or a PN. The NCLEX-RN has between 75 and 265 questions and allows a maximum time limit of 6 hours. The NCLEX-PN consists of 85 to 205 questions with a time limit of no more than 5 hours. The reason the number of questions varies so largely is due to the Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) used on the NCLEX. When you take an exam which uses CAT, the computer adjusts the difficulty of the exam based on your performance. Each consecutive question will be one you have a 50% chance of getting correct, based on your previous answers. This allows the test to more fully examine your potential and means that no two students take the same exam.
Both the RN and PN versions of the NCLEX focus on the needs of patients. You'll need to review the practices used to create safe and effective care environments, health promotion and maintenance, and psychological and physiological integrity. You'll also want to study material you would have learned in social science, biological science, and physical science courses you would have taken in a college or university such as the University of Central Florida or Valencia College.
What are the benefits of the two different types of Orlando NCLEX prep?
When you sign up for NCLEX preparation with Varsity Tutors, you have the option of either taking an online course or being connected to a private NCLEX teacher. Both options allow you to receive instruction from experienced NCLEX teachers with good communication skills. Each option, however, comes with a different set of benefits, which we'll talk about in more detail here.
If you prefer a social learning environment which is similar to a traditional classroom, you may want to sign up for an Orlando NCLEX prep class. When you take an online course provided by Varsity Tutors, you will have the chance to interact directly with your NCLEX coach as if you were sitting at a table together. You can see, speak to, and hear your teacher during your live sessions and can ask questions throughout the course of each lesson. You also have the opportunity to communicate with your NCLEX classmates. This allows you to participate in group activities and engage in various discussions about the material you are learning that day. Additionally, your classes are able to be accessed using our virtual platform. This means you can take live NCLEX classes from the comfort of your favorite place to study.
However, if you prefer an independent educational atmosphere, you can choose to sign up to be connected with a private Orlando NCLEX tutor. This gives you the option to have more control over your review sessions. You can choose to focus on the subject you need the most help with. You can also move at a pace which you find most comfortable. This allows you to skip over content you already know and devote as many sessions as necessary to the topics you are struggling with. Your instructor has the ability to learn your goals, weaknesses, skills, and the manner in which you prefer to learn. This creates the unique opportunity to receive customized lessons to help you work towards your particular goals.
Some learners may find they can benefit from taking advantage of both choices. Whichever option you select, we are here to support you as you work on your professional nursing goals.

...while rebuilding confidence. I love to teach just as much as I love to learn. I truly believe where there's a will, there's a way, and hopefully an "A"! If you really want to understand the "why" and not just the "what will be on the test," then I'm your gal. Apart from academia, I have been a fitness instructor for 20 years, and also enjoy Latin dancing, cooking, and multicultural experiences.... I believe teaching is most effective by discovering and facilitating the learning style of students. Some students are auditory learners, while others are visual, or tactile. Once the primary learning style is determined, then it is essential that the student be empowered to learn from a customized position of strength, and not from the pressure of performance alone.
