What are some of the concepts that will be covered during Cincinnati NCLEX preparation?
The NCLEX is the National Council Licensure Examination and has two versions--one for practical nurses (PN) and one for registered nurses (RN). The test covers client needs which is one of the most important things a nurse should know. The NCLEX is divided into four sections: Safe and Effective Care Environment, Psychosocial Integrity, Health Promotion and Maintenance, and Physiological Integrity. Each section is divided into subsections which can differ between the PN test and the RN test, just like the length of the test is different. Examples of some subsections include Safety and Infection Control and Reduction of Risk Potential. The PN test is five hours long while the RN test is six hours.
During Cincinnati NCLEX prep, you can gain an understanding of the format as well as reviewing the content of the NCLEX. This computer-adaptive test will measure your true ability level of being a nurse. The RN test has no less than 75 questions and no more than 265 questions while the PN version has between 85 and 205 questions. You'll need to make sure you read each question carefully because how you answer one question determines what your next question is. You won't be able to skip questions and go back to them. Your NCLEX instructor can show you techniques on how to eliminate the wrong answers so you can make your best guess if you don't know the answer.
What are the benefits of doing NCLEX prep?

They will lead you and the other students in discussions and answer any questions you have. For instance, you might be struggling with how to communicate with a client's family, but another student might have some thoughts on that topic. One-on-one time is available with your instructor if you're still having difficulty with a concept.
