I am a recent graduate of Tufts University with experience tutoring primarily middle-school age students in English, science, math and history, and adult learners in politics. I am especially passionate about reading and writing, and increasing literacy with my students. Outside of tutoring, I currently work for a tech company in Somerville, and I enjoy exploring the city, playing the piano and guitar, and writing.

I'm a recent BU graduate with a major in history and a minor in chemistry. I'm well rounded, with a solid understanding of chemistry, physics, math, American history and European history up to a college level. I've always loved helping other students learn, and want to bring that enthusiasm to tutoring. I like to make problems relatable to students, and believe they can learn anything they set their mind to with enough practice.

Learning isn't always easy; in fact it's often uncomfortable. This means it's possible to find meaning even in classes we hate or the ones we think we are bad at. For this reason, I hope to work with learners who might be uncertain about their interests and futures.

I studied engineering at Roger Williams University. I received my degree in Construction Management and minored in Business and Economics. During my education, I tutored math for the university. I am currently involved with training and development at my current job. I like to find ways to relate subjects to students in terms that they can understand and better comprehend.
