I am especially passionate about reading and writing, and increasing literacy with my students. Outside of tutoring, I currently work for a tech company in Somerville, and I enjoy exploring the city, playing the piano and guitar, and writing.

I'm a recent BU graduate with a major in history and a minor in chemistry. I'm well rounded, with a solid understanding of chemistry, physics, math, American history and European history up to a college level. I've always loved helping other students learn, and want to bring that enthusiasm to tutoring. I like to make problems relatable to students, and believe they can learn anything they set their mind to with enough practice.

Learning isn't always easy; in fact it's often uncomfortable. This means it's possible to find meaning even in classes we hate or the ones we think we are bad at. For this reason, I hope to work with learners who might be uncertain about their interests and futures.

I am a recent graduate of Indiana University. I majored in Human Biology with an area of concentration in Human Growth and Development, as well as minored in Chemistry and Psychology.
