I've always had a great love for reading and writing and hope to pass that love along, while also ensuring that students have a good grasp on reading comprehension, grammar, and writing mechanics. I use a combination of several different techniques to enable students to improve in their reading and writing skills, and try to use resources that are not only helpful but also relate to the students' interests.

I am an experienced classroom teacher with 19 years of experience. I love to integrate learning through music, art, stories, and games. I am certified in Massachusetts as a classroom teacher, math specialist, reading specialist, and education administrator. I have two sons. I also love writing songs and run a musical theater camp. I love to make learning fun and exciting for my students. I was a 2015 finalist for Massachusetts Teacher of the Year.
