As a graduate student at Boston College, I believe that education can open new opportunities throughout life. With two years of volunteer tutoring experience, with both 4th and 8th graders, I believe in making learning fun, relevant and interactive. Every single student learns differently and it is vital to learn how each student learns in order to aid them in succeeding.

I am a recent graduate of Tufts University with experience tutoring primarily middle-school age students in English, science, math and history, and adult learners in politics. I am especially passionate about reading and writing, and increasing literacy with my students. Outside of tutoring, I currently work for a tech company in Somerville, and I enjoy exploring the city, playing the piano and guitar, and writing.
