I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential because I truly believe that education can change lives. Every student has a unique way of learning, and I love the challenge and reward of discovering how to best support each individual's growth and confidence. Seeing a student have an "aha" moment or begin to believe in themselves is what makes tutoring so fulfilling for me.

I've been working with students for 13 years, both in-person and online, across a variety of elementary grade levels and subjects. Whether helping elementary students strengthen their reading skills, with challenging math and science concepts, or guiding students through the writing process, I bring patience, encouragement, and structure to each session.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English and Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Framingham State University. I am a licensed educator in both Elementary Education grade 1-6 and English as a Second Language. My academic background gives me a strong foundation in both subject matter and educational techniques.

I tutor a range of subjects, specializing in Early Reading Foundation Skills, Comprehension Skills, and Elementary Math, but my favorite to tutor Foundational Skills. I love teaching Reading Foundations because it allows me to help students build the essential tools they need to become confident, independent readers, opening the door to a lifetime of learning and curiosity.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered and supportive. I focus on building confidence as much as competence. I believe that a safe, positive learning environment where questions are always welcome is essential for real understanding to happen. My tutoring style is adaptive and friendly: I assess where a student is, understand their goals, and use clear explanations, practice, and encouragement to guide them forward.
