I first learned I had a love of teaching back during my graduate school days. Although I've spent most of my career doing chemical research, I still found the time to teach chemistry at two local colleges. I believe science can be a lot more enjoyable (and easier to comprehend) if you take the time to understand why it works instead of just memorizing facts.
