My name is Alan; my educational background includes a Masters degree in Financial Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York and a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University in Bronx, New York. I also hold the FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. My primary teaching areas are statistics, economics (micro, macro, international trade, international finance) and finance (corporate finance, investments, financial markets, risk management, derivative securities.)

I have completed all four parts of the CPA Exam. I have embraced this challenge as a full-time Senior Associate at FLSV, LLP. Here, I have built a solid, diverse foundation of federal, SALT and foreign tax. I graduated in 2020 with a 4.0 GPA in all business related courses. Additionally, I have received the award for the highest GPA in the accounting program for my graduating class.
