My name is Matthew Abernathy.I am currently teaching Pre-AP Pre-Calculus and Algebra 2 as well as pursuing my Masters of Education with a specialization in Gifted and Talented Education. I graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a minor in business. I love teaching upper-level mathematics. For me, the best thing about tutoring is being able to teach the individual, rather than the group. Learning is about connecting new information to old information, and has to be based on the teacher understanding what the student already knows, and it's easier to develop this understanding when working with students individually.
