Anatomy Tutoring review by George in Dallas Fort Worth, TX
Today was a great day studying with the student. We started with areas that she felt that she hadn't understood well: reflex arc, homeostatic control theory, basics of the integumentary system, the axial and appendicular skeletons, major bones, boney landmarks, and major muscles. In 90 minutes we were able to review most of the major items on the study guide for all chapters. She feels very confident and ready for her anatomy semester exam.

Anatomy Tutoring review by James in Dallas Fort Worth, TX
The student had a lab project on vision and hearing that he needed help with. We covered aspects of color vision, astigmatism, blind spots, and anatomy of the eye. For hearing we discussed sound localization and how the brain determines where sounds come from and some of the physics of sound waves. Overall, the student has a very good grasp on vision and hearing. Next week if the class is still covering the special senses I hope we can review some of the physiology of why our senses work the way they do.

Anatomy Tutoring review by Lisa in Dallas Fort Worth, TX
Finished discussing review worksheet on muscles, talked a lot about motor units and muscle contraction. Went over a study guide and had him answer while I asked questions. Also briefly quizzed on identifying bones. Most difficult part is coming up with the names from memory but he can likely recognize them if seen.
