I am a retired public-school teacher that was recruited to teach at a private school because of my experience and expertise. I have extensive knowledge of phonics and reading skills that help students decode learning to read. I like to make personal connections to help build a foundation that students can use to be successful in their academic careers. I have worked with special needs students with all kinds of obstacles and also work with academically gifted. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching my two boys play sports.
