I am a 2016 graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Upon completing my education, I worked for nearly two years as an interpreter for a bank. While that line of work had a lot of advantages, I felt in my heart that I needed to make a bigger difference in the world. Therefore, I went to Missouri State University to get my Post-Baccalaureate in Teaching with emphasis in K-12 Spanish. I began teaching in 2018 and have not looked back. There is no greater excitement or reward than knowing that I am making a positive difference in the life of a student. The positive relationships keep me excited about doing my job and seeing a student light up with excitement when they master a concept reminds me why I chose this profession. I am over the moon excited to serve more students through Varsity Tutors and to inspire them to fall in love with the Spanish language and its various cultures. YAY SPANISH!!!
