First of all, I'd like to say that I love math and it gives a great satisfaction to help other students to succeed with the subject. I'm currently enrolled at Miami Dade College and I'm almost done with my A.A in Electrical Engineering. I'm studying to be an engineering and hopefully in the spring semester 2018 I'll be transferring to Georgia Tech University to pursue my dream. When it comes to my personality I love being talkative and inspirational in order to transmit confidence to my students.
Originally from Cuba, I gained a solid background in mathematics, physics, and chemistry as a student there, as the level of education there is very high. Eventually emigrating to the United States, I became a student at Miami Dade College, where I began tutoring students at the Math lab and also at the science department. At that moment I realized my true love is guiding students to get better. My dream is to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering to eventually work, design and develop new electrical equipment, solves problems and tests equipment. I can't wait to be working with all kinds of electronic devices, from the smallest pocket devices to large supercomputers. Electrical engineering deals with electricity, electro-magnetism and electronics. While I enjoy the sciences, mathematics is my passion. I also like the idea of one day teaching mathematics and science as a professor at the college and university level.
Thanks to the knowledge I've gained in my studies, I have been able to help and tutor several of my peers within the math classes I was taking, both at my new high school here in the States, and eventually when I moved on to college. In 2016 I started at Miami Dade College where I successfully completed all math and science courses required to enter the program for the degree I will be seeking. I truly enjoy working with other students. I am able to pinpoint the struggles and assist in strengthening skill in the subject and addressing the specific need of the student. Each student is different, and tutoring sessions would be tailored to the individual according to that student's needs and goals. I specialize in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Chemistry, Physics, and More!
Math and science courses can be difficult, but having an experienced tutor can make it enjoyable and rewarding. I look forward to working with you.
