I have ten years experience in the field of teaching and remedial education. My main area of specialization has been reading, and helping young children to become confident readers and overcome a range of reading difficulties. Reading is the foundation of all learning, and the importance of this skill cannot be overemphasized.
I then entered the field of adult education, obtained a Masters Degree in TESOL (teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Anaheim University, and gained considerable experience in ESL teaching. I have worked in 8 different countries and with many diverse and interesting cultures.
It is my passion and privilege to work with students of all ages and help them to read effectively and develop optimal communication skills. My aim in ESL teaching is to integrate the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, to promote academic and professional achievement.
I enjoy travel, volunteering, and various arts and crafts.
