I recently graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in English-Secondary Education. I guide with high expectations, active questioning, and consistent reflection. I also thoroughly enjoy teaching each step of the writing process and actively discuss any constructive criticism to transform criticism into improved writing pieces.
During my current teaching career as well as my academic career, I have had multiple teaching experiences. Daily, I have the opportunity to plan and implement writing instruction based on data provided by student performance. Being able to differentiate and plan instruction based on students' prior knowledge and abilities encouraged students to make connections with new concepts. Daily planning with a team is essential to a student's success. I consistently evaluate student performance and make each lesson interactive with technology as well as collaborative learning.
