I am a graduate of the University of Richmond and Rutgers University. With my Masters in English, I have spent several years in the classroom as a middle school English teacher, most recently working with students who need to complete school outside the classroom for disciplinary or medical reasons. I absolutely love teaching writing, literature and reading comprehension, and try to make everything easy to relate to and fun because I believe that this leads to better comprehension and understanding, while at the same time enabling my students to learn as much as possible. In addition, I have a passion for helping my students express themselves creatively through writing, find their own individual writing style and voice, and convey their ideas in the most concise and interesting way possible.
