We finished reviewing today for the student's exam tomorrow. We first looked over inverse trigonometric functions, where we emphasized the domain of these functions, in addition to a graphical way of evaluating these problems. Then we covered trigonometric equations. We looked at how these problems could be viewed similarly to solving polynomial or quadratic equations. He will continue to prepare using the textbook before taking the exam.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Christian in Jacksonville, FL
This was my first session with the student in some time. In class she has gone back to trigonometry, which is unusual since she already moved on from trigonometry to sequences and series. Specifically she is working on half and double angle formulas. We started by working on some example problems from her textbook. She was able to find many of the multiple choice answers using her calculator but I explained to her that that method was not in the spirit of the question and it would cost her points in the long run. I tried to show her how to solve the problems using the intended analytical method.
