How can Trigonometry tutoring help you succeed?

Trigonometry is a subset of math that asks students to examine the relationships between the sides and angles of a triangle. Through this examination, trigonometry yields important insights to us that are applicable to a variety of other educational disciplines. Trigonometry is also an important skill required to perform well in a number of fields, one of the most notable of which is architecture. However, like any math class, some students struggle to grasp the finer points of this field. If you could use some help, consider reaching out to a private tutor. If you are seeking trigonometry tutoring near Jacksonville, the educational directors at Varsity Tutors may help you connect with a tutor who could help you achieve your academic goals.

Many students also choose to reach out to a tutor for help preparing for Florida state exams. Two of the exams that test for trigonometry knowledge include the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) and the Statewide Science Assessment. Whatever reason you're interested in a tutor, though, they may be able that matches your needs. You'll get the chance to work with an expert in trigonometry who may work to answer any questions you have as soon as they come up. Additionally, each session you engage with your tutor in may be focused on a targeted lesson plan that is designed to combat your biggest areas of weakness. The student's class has nearly finished proving trig identities; she only had a couple of lingering questions to address in that vein tonight. We also went over geometry questions from the practice ACT she took at school.

We finished reviewing today for the student's exam tomorrow. We first looked over inverse trigonometric functions, where we emphasized the domain of these functions, in addition to a graphical way of evaluating these problems. Then we covered trigonometric equations. We looked at how these problems could be viewed similarly to solving polynomial or quadratic equations. He will continue to prepare using the textbook before taking the exam.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Christian in Jacksonville, FL
This was my first session with the student in some time. In class she has gone back to trigonometry, which is unusual since she already moved on from trigonometry to sequences and series. Specifically she is working on half and double angle formulas. We started by working on some example problems from her textbook. She was able to find many of the multiple choice answers using her calculator but I explained to her that that method was not in the spirit of the question and it would cost her points in the long run. I tried to show her how to solve the problems using the intended analytical method.
