Reetish is currently a Medical Student. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada and after moving from several places, he now calls Oviedo, Florida home. Reetish currently has a Masters of Science in Neuroscience and is hoping to graduate medical school in 2026. He enjoys tutoring all hardworking students in the areas of math and science including difficult courses such as Calculus, Anatomy, Physiology, and algebra. I like helping students. I am very patient. I have experience teaching Calculus classes at the University of Miami. I have done private tutoring for all levels of math up to Calculus, as well as Statistics, Business Math, and Math Finance. I have worked in the actuarial field. I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in mathematics from the University of Miami. I worked for The Princeton Review as a tutor for the SAT. I did very well on both the SAT and ACT, and like teaching students how to do better on those. I like history, too, and always find it fun to tutor history.

My mission as a tutor and mentor is to make the journey into medicine structured, attainable, and empowering by providing individualized academic support from high school through the premedical years, with a specific focus on MCAT preparation and long term success. In addition to content mastery, I emphasize executive function coaching. Many capable students struggle not because they lack intelligence, but because they lack structure. More recently, I have gained experience as a field researcher and data collection representative for psychological test publication companies and for the dissemination of research opportunities through my own efforts under the public name Research for ALL! Throughout my career, I have developed skills in the areas of data collection, education administration, marketing, social media sales, and educational consulting. I am proficient in communication methods and communication sciences, English and second language accommodations, as well as computer literacy. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business and Organizational Leadership while researching full time work in educational consulting and tutoring in specialized curriculum areas (i.e., marketing, sales, business education, math and science).

I am a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Yale University with a Masters in Public Health. I also hold a Level 5 certification in TEFL. I am passionate about working with children and students of all ages to assist them in achieving their highest potential. My favorite subjects to teach are phonics, reading, science and math. My approach is to meet the students where they are at in their studies and make their learning experience fun, interactive, engaging and exciting. My military background is in computer systems/networks and I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle. I am nearing the end of my M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Purdue, which I have been working towards part-time since 2020. I have tutoring experience from my undergraduate experience where I worked as a chemistry, physics, and mathematics tutor. Additionally, I have mentoring experience in my current role as an engineer. I have a strong interest in continual learning and enjoy helping others succeed in their studies & educational pursuits.

As a high school teacher in Daytona Beach, FL, I have led classes from various subjects, including physics, engineering, and music. This has given me insight into a wide range of learning types and the approaches that work best for the individual student. Outside the classroom, I have tutored many that either needed help in a particular class or wanted a deeper understanding of their science and technology coursework. Furthermore, I have reached an intermediate proficiency level of French, Italian and German. Regarding my tutoring, I feel comfortable teaching Mathematics in both English and Spanish. I enjoy one-on-one tutoring because it gives me the chance to taylor my lessons to the specific needs of a student. My preference is to build knowledge from first principles and to encourage reasoning and independent thinking.
